Since my Youth (17) I’m a Big Fan of The Shadows – my Favorite Number is “Apache”.
The Members of The Shadows are now too Old (Brian Bennett will be this year ‘76’, Bruce Welch ‘75’ and my favorite: Hank Marvin ‘75’ ) for tours and I’m afraid they don’t want it!
It’s great that The Bootleg Shadows makes Live Music of my Favorites! With pleasure I listened to your Videos and have I now only one question:
“When comes The Bootleg Shadows to the Netherlands for Performances?”

The Shadows my favourite band of all time followed them since the early 60’s – I live between Chester and Liverpool – you must come north – possibly to the Floral Pavillion New Brighton, Philharmonic in Liverpool – these venues would really suit you

I was at Lakeside last weekend and you guys were just amazing.
I would love to see you do an album in the Shadows style but not with all Shadows tracks as I think you could do some good interpretation’s of other tracks in the style of the Shadows.

We do a Beatles medley in the style of the Shads and yes it would be fun to do more like that. We do well over 2 hours in our full theatre show so Lakeside was half a show for us.
Our usual Derby venue the Guildhall had to cancel due to repair work and they have more structural issues so not sure. Telford on Saturday is our next Midlands date.

Are there any plans to return to the Stafford Gatehouse in the future?
Not at the moment Eddie. Numbers were poor last time but I think partly as we played Telford a few weeks earlier. Not sure if the theatre would book us again but most theatres will wait 2 years before re-booking. We’re at Market Drayton this Saturday which is not far away – about 20 miles from Stafford and Telford. We won’t be doing Telford either this year. Next Midlands gigs this year are Stourport in June then Derby later in the year. Thanks for your support.
We went to see them at the Astor in Deal what a fantastic evening we had the drum solo was one of the best I have seen and the guitar playing was brilliant when are you coming back to kent please can’t wait to see you all again
